Biography:
He was a joint Musical Director of a major theatre company in 1970's, and his co-writing/arranging led to a prominent local radio station referring to him and his associate as their city's 'answer to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice'. Their work was featured at the prestigious Royal Exchange Theatre on more than one occasion. As a respected classical guitarist he has transcribed the complete recorded works of Agustin Barrios in seven volumes. These transcriptions are rapidly establishing themselves as the definitive reference edition for some of the world's leading guitarists.

He composes pieces for one, two, or three guitars and also produced a highly publicised composition which was premiered at the Brighton Festival in 1997 and has since been published. A piece for guitar and flute has recently been completed and is due to be debuted this year. In singer/songwriter mode, he is a prolific writer with some 120 titles to his credit spanning the last 30 years. He is presently working on a showcase CD of his favourite compositions. In the last 8 years, he has played as part of a guitar trio, arranging and performing songs and creating 'suites for guitar' from well-known musicals. He is also on the review panel of a major guitar magazine.

Performances:
He has long enjoyed playing music in public since very early in his teens. After performing for several years in his guise as Musical Director of a theatre group, he began to establish himself as a classical guitarist who could provide the ideal sort of background music to accompany private functions, parties, meals, restaurant gatherings, birthdays, weddings and other similar functions.

His repertoire is very extensive and includes over three hours of non repeatable material, including over an hour of his own arrangements of popular songs, which were accumulated over a number of years, (many as a result of requests by his audiences).
