A classical guitar duet of outstanding natural ability with a huge repertoire of music. Drawing from extensive solo experience they combine talents to create a unique combination of style and technique that is a joy to listen to.

They have many years experience as soloists and as a duet they have played together now for just over a year, performing formal recital concerts and more informal dinner events.
Training #1: Artist profiles from left to right:
The guitarist (pictured left) started to play the guitar at the age of 10. He has played in master classes for such eminent guitarists as David Russell, Pavel Steidl, David Leisner, Mark Ashford and Kai Niemenan. In 2005 he completed his studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with first class honours where he studied with Chris Stell and John Mills. During his undergraduate studies he was also twice winner of the Cohen award for excellence in classical guitar. In March 2005 he played for the Walton festival which included high profile performances in the college and at lady Walton’s house in Ischia, Italy.
Other performances have included the 9th international guitar festival at Bolivar hall London, performances at West Dean festival, the national museum in wales, Brecon Cathedral, The National gallery, the V and A, and all over Wales and England. He is very active as a chamber musician and performs with his colleague in the guitar duo, as well as with others. In 2007 he graduated from the Royal College of Music with a postgraduate diploma where he studied with Gary Ryan.

The guitarist (pictured right) was awarded an ABSM Recital Diploma in 1987 from the Birmingham School of Music. During that time he studied with Brian Whitehouse and also attended master classes with great names such as Carlos Bonnel and Julian Byzantine. Also available as a Solo Guitarist (PE-02)
Biography:
From an early age he was demonstrating his prowess at various competitions around the country including Cheltenham in 1981 where he won the Memorial Trophy. During this period he also attended master classes to further his musical skills with established international artists such as Carlos Bonnell. In 1983 his playing was recognised academically by the Birmingham Conservatoire when he was awarded a Recital Diploma, the college's highest award at the time. He has furthered his reputation with some recordings of the highest calibre. These include his collaboration with a British composer, producing albums of his most well known works to date with compilations of guitar music from all over the world. He has also featured on other recordings including an album of flute and guitar duos and trios with CBSO flautist Margaret Campbell.
