I would certainly recommend him to anyone for a friends or family function and likewise for corporate events.

Excellent agency - extremely helpful, friendly and the booking process from start to finish was very good, very quick and easy to understand. We had fun too listening to the artists via the website which helped us select the right guitarist for our event. Value for money too.

The only (very small) comment that I have would be that the guitarist thought he was playing at a wedding and I believe he was slightly bewildered when he turned up at our offices to play for our corporate event (although it wasn't a problem and caused us some amusement during our stressful day of organising things!) (And this questionnaire does relate to "our wedding", which could possibly be changed to "our event"?) We would like you to pass on our thanks to the guitarist.

I was overloaded by the number of emails ** (See below).  I could not easily find the email that contained the choices of artist I found the overall colur scheme jarring and at complete odds with the the "Romantic" brand being promoted. I would suggest red is a more romantic scheme. I could not work out how far the artist had to travel (in terms of carbon footprint and hassle to the artist) The most important section in my opinion is the display of all the the artists in terms of cost , travel, music, appearance. I thought the email was adequate when this is an area that needs to be excellent. Comparison websites are the standard to match.

** Agency response:  We send out 3 emails to all new clients.  One entitled "Quotation for your event", the second entitled "We have sent your Quotation" and a third entitled "How to proceed with your booking" which are all self-explanatory. 

We do not believe that we overloaded the client to the extent that he describes and have never had a similar response in 10 years of trading to suggest a pattern of similar feeling,  but we would welcome any further feedback as we are naturally always looking to these feedback forums to improve our services. 

We have updated the literature and parts of the website in the hope that the colour schemes and information sections are more appealing as he suggests.  (Although RED is deemed psychologically to be an angry colour even if it is also romantic in some contexts, so we chose PURPLE instead.  :-) Thank you.  RGA Admin.  Jan 2009.

Timekeeping was excellent, he arrived well in advance of our ceremony and set himself up discreetly. He looked very professional and smart. The volume was perfect all day, loud for the entrance of bride and recessional, and more subtle and ambient as background music for the meal. He rang us several weeks ahead of the event to ask what music we would like for our ceremony and went out of his way to get hold of ones that weren't already in his repertoire.

We were very impressed with our artist, he was professional yet friendly, taking the trouble to offer words of celebration on our marriage after all other guests had passed through the receiving line. He also helped my sister plug in her CD player ready for her to sing during the ceremony, very kind.

Yes, so many guests commented how excellent the guitarist was and how it contributed to a romantic atmosphere, and asked where we found him.

Response to initial enquiry was extremely quick. Communication was very efficient on the whole and booking process was straightforward. Good choice of artists and reasonably priced.

Only negative comment was that a firm, written confirmation that our chosen artist could attend our event took a little longer than we'd have preferred, we were told that this was because our artist was travelling on the road so it wasn't easy to get the paperwork to him to be signed and sent back which makes sense, and to be fair we did book 9 months before our wedding so there was plenty of time and no real need for us to worry.

As far as i know he was there on time and played when we suggested. Andrew was dressed very smartly. The music was great and loved hearing my favourite song when i was signing the register. If there were any errors etc, I certainly didnt hear any I was so excited!

Nothing i didnt like, although we were up the other end of the garden for a long time having photos so missed out a bit, i think someone suggested move up the garden but then we all came back down again, not a complaint just a shame i didnt get to hear more!!! Friends and family thought it was lovely too and really set the scene for a garden wedding. It was a perfect day for me as i had an image in my head of the sun shinning, people enjoying themselves and the guitar playing in the back ground and thats exactly what i got!!

Music Volume, appearance were perfect and although the guys did turn up on time they were cutting it a little fine. We were hoping that they would be there before 7pm rather than after so that they could start as soon as the guests boarded, however, they didn't take long to set up. Just caused me extra stress and worry that they would miss the boat which was leaving at 7.15pm

They were great, some of our guests asked for some very strange requests and the guys were great they just played whatever people wanted. I think one cheeky chappy that we know asked them if they (RU-03) would play 'chim chiminey' and also 'the birdie song', which they did in good humour.

Booking a musician(s) for such an important occasion is not something we have done before and until we found your agency, we were struggling to find something appropriate for the day and the whole task was becoming very worrying. Getting married is a hugely expensive affair. As soon as service providers hear the word 'Wedding' they seem to think that adding another 50% to the bill is totally justified. By contrast, the service we received from The Romantic Guitar Agency was incredible value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. Response time was excellent, customer care first rate. I felt that we were getting a very personal, first class service and I certain feel that the Agency met my needs fully and offered a huge variety of artists to meet every mood. Absolutely fantastic, the evening was made with the music, and everyone was really pleased with what was played during the evening. DU-01 arrived in plenty of time to set up and this was kept a secret from my partner right up to the time when they walked into the room and DU-01 played a song I had requested. He was dressed in black tie which was requested due to the type of event we were holding - I really don't have anything bad to say at all! Everything was fantastic as I said.

I was delighted with his work and would very much appreciate you being able to pass that on to him with my apolpgies for not doing so myself on the actual day. Thank you!

To be honest, I hardly saw him. Sally and I turned up later than expected and were the last to arrive. I heard (The guitarist) play a little before being whisked off for photos. From what I did see and hear, (The guitarist) looked just fine and the music he played was also fine. I have since spoken to several guests who said he played nicely and it appeared to be well received.

The choice on the website was varied, from Spanish to more classical etc. Although unfortunately we didn't personally hear much of (The guitarist), many guests said it was nice and different rather than a traditional string quartet. Considering how much a strong quartet is and the fact we like guitar music, it was excellent value for money. The service you gave, Andrew, was spot on and I would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.
